G3: CYBERBULLYING - My Rights & Responsibilities (concept) as a Student

Students enjoy surfing the Internet, play online games, connect with others through social networking and creating and sharing information online. It is very important that every student knows how to be safe and behave online. They need to know their rights as a student in school and it accompanies that they also know their responsibilities.

In our unit Digital Citizenship, students will learn, understand and always keep in mind their rights and responsibilities. The concept of responsibility accompanies related concepts: Dependability, Initiative and Effort. While students learned and accept responsibility, they become dependable, making initiative and effort to take appropriate action. Their action according to their responsibility will determined the consequence and or reward.

Third graders discuss the concept of responsibility and their rights as a student to be able to have a meaningful, fun and engaging learning environment in school and online.

In our Google Classroom, students will submit a Google Document with the list of their rights and responsibilities as a students. Together with this document, they will use editing tools and formatting tools in Google Drive. When done, students will submit their document for grading.
